Company History

Zhejiang Shenglan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.—History

Zhejiang Shenglan New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was officially registered on 20 May 2020. Its technological origins can be traced back to earlier research and development in specialised non-woven materials, and the company focuses on innovation in non-woven fabrics for the filtration and protective sectors.

2020 marked a pivotal period in the company's development: in July, a 2.4-metre bicomponent spunbond production line was commissioned, and in December, the company was designated as a national key manufacturer of epidemic prevention materials, providing critical material support for the fight against the pandemic. 2021 saw breakthroughs in both qualifications and technology: in August, the company established a research and development centre for micron-level fibre new materials; in September, it passed quality management system certification; and in December, it was recognised as a National High-Tech Enterprise and awarded the honour of "National Advanced Collective in the Textile Industry". During the same period, a 3.4-metre ultra-thin polyester spunbond production line was completed, expanding into high-end application scenarios.

Since then, the company has continued to expand its production capacity, establishing two major production bases in Quzhou and Hangzhou, covering a total area of 60,000 square metres, with an annual production capacity of 15,000 tonnes, including over 10,000 tonnes of automotive air conditioning filter materials. The company has achieved significant results in technological research and development; by 2025, it held 13 invention patents and 27 utility model patents, and established an industry-academia-research partnership with Donghua University, focusing on innovation in new material formulations and composite processes. With a global reach, the company serves clients across the United States, Europe, South Korea, Japan and beyond, establishing itself as a key supplier in the field of specialised nonwoven materials.
